The Color Day will take place on Saturday, September 25 at the Center plein air Mont Farlagne from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Pika, our beloved mountain yeti, awaits you to observe the annual spectacle of colors in our mountains. Several activities will be offered to participants: inflatable games and face painting for children, free access to mountain bike trails, demonstration of outdoor sports and recreation equipment, ployes and hot dogs, beer from the Brasseurs du Petit-Sault, etc.
It should be noted that the ski lift will not be in operation due to the carrying out of maintenance work. We invite you to take up the challenge on foot, but if you need assistance, volunteers will be on hand to get you up the mountain on four wheeler.
In addition, a bike ride is planned in the mountain bike trails to get to Mont Farlagne. Details about this activity will be provided on the Sentiers Madawaska Trails Facebook page. Last November, the Coopérative de récréotourisme du Madawaska won the Voilà! contest from Uni for the region. This sum was used to fit out a marquee and a gathering place which will henceforth bear the name Espace UNI. This marquee will allow the organization of family days and sporting and community events. The inauguration of the tent will be at 1 p.m. We invite you to participate in large numbers in the 2021 edition of the Day of Colors at the Center plein air Mont Farlagne.
