Exhibit of 15 paintings by Mario Cyr. The artist from Saint-Quentin, New Brunswick, currently living in Moncton, New Brunswick. He previously worked at the Acadian Association of Professional Artists of NB (AAAPNB).

Its common thread of inspiration has 4 main elements: a reduced palette of colors, a white background with bluish shades, lines of definition, connection and movement and a tribe of intriguing and primitive little characters in evolution. Her oil paintings on canvas were done in the fall of 2023 at the rate of one per week.

And Les bateaux et la mer by Daniel Robichaud. Six of his oil paintings on canvas will be displayed on the community wall. Originally from Tracadie, New Brunswick, he now lives in Edmundston, New Brunswick. In his works, he always remembers his memories of fishing boats and scenes of the sea, which continue to fascinate him. His painting style is realism.

From: April 18 to May 26, 2024, at Galerie Colline. The gallery is located inside the Madawaska Historical Museum, 195 Hébert Blvd., Edmundston, NB.
